Deer Park Walk - Saturday 17th October between 1-5PM

Explore the beauty of Llantrithyd Deer Park with a self-guided walk along our 2.5 km historic park boundary, taking in beautiful countryside views and the chance to spot our three herds of Red, Fallow and Sika deer.

Autumn is a particularly exciting time to visit, as the deer rut is in full swing! You may be lucky enough to witness some spectacular natural behaviour, including stags roaring, competing for dominance and mating.

On Arrival

Please present your order number at the Park Shop, where you will be asked to sign in and given directions for your walk.

1. The route is approximately 2.5 km and is hilly and muddy in places, so sturdy walking shoes or boots are essential.
2. Please bring a water bottle and clothing suitable for the weather.
3. Toilets and drinking water are available at the Park Shop.
4. For your safety please remain on the designated route and do not go through any closed gates.

Please note the final time for starting the walk will be at 4:15pm.
