Evening of June 2nd - Guided Deer Spotting Walk & Picnic

This ticket invites you to join us for a 2hr guided walk and picnic opportunity through our historic deer park as part of the 2025 Vale Food Trail.

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, June 1st

• Walk & Picnic: 17:00 AM - 19:00 PM - Gentle walk through the rolling countryside to see the deer and park and learn about how the park is run, it's history and the three herds of deer that live here. Bring your own picnic.

Important Information:

• Good walking shoes or boots are recommended.

• Expect some hilly terrain, but we’ll take our time and enjoy the scenery.

After your walk, visit our shop for decorative antlers, fresh eggs, antler dog chews, and stunning park photography. Next season venison can be pre-ordered.

Please note: Deer are wild animals, and it is important that noise levels are kept at a minimum and no bright clothing is worn. This gives you the best chance of seeing the deer. You will not be able to pat the deer.
