This is the first antler shed by one of our majestic Fallow Bucks in 2025. After spotting the buck on May 28th with only one antler, we eagerly searched and eventually found the other nestled in the bracken of Old Lodge Park.
What makes this antler special is its near-perfect condition-a rarity for Fallow Deer, whose antlers often show damage from fighting. This impressive piece comes from our 4-year-old buck, a young contender who may one day lead the herd. Each year, he sheds his antlers to grow a new, larger set, striving for dominance.
